We are supposed to get the TT back tomorrow (Crossing Fingers). If we do we are going to Mojave Narrows in Victorville, Ca. We drove through it a couple of weeks ago and it looks really cool. Full hook up's, Lake, horseback riding, pony rides, huge playground, etc. they are not real busy so we will just show up, should'nt be a problem since it is off-season.  If we go, I will give a full report.

I have spent the last month planning our last week in May trip to Arches and Grand Canyon north rim.  Doing the research has been fun and I just made the reservations the other day.  I even found a pic of our campsite in Arches.  Looks pretty good with a pull through right up against the rocks and we will be able to have the door face the rocks.

Grand Canyon won't let you pick your sites.  They "prime" sites were taken but I hear the campground is nice.  It's all dry, but it's also all good.

Now, only 4 months.  But we will be out before that on weekenders...

Three weeks from today and I should be camping.:)

This year it's particularly hard! Normally I enjoy cross country skiing so much that I don't miss camping too much until early Spring, but THIS Winter never showed up! We've got very little snow and a lot of rain and warm weather!

Cross Country skiing, hmmm.  I know there is global warming.  20-25 years ago I used to go at least once or twice a year.  Now no one sells cross country equipment in the midwest anymore the last one in Kansas City closing their cross X line and rentals after about 30 years.  Back in Indianapolis where I came from I think they are all gone too. If you get to go once every 2 or three years you are lucky.

So now I camp.  My goal is the see the Glaciers in Glacier before they melt.

Quote from: TroutBumI turn 30 this wednesday.  My DW is 30 as well, and signatures of most posters on this board seem to be 40-50 with kids. (though I didn't notice until after I posted that the person who started this thread was in his/her 30's as well)

Alittle off topic but my hubby and I are in our thirties too! ;)
