Just wondering about any Jayco pop up owners who have had good or bad luck with there brand.  Thanks....

We love our Jayco, it has everything to fit our needs! Very well built and can really stand up to the eliments, and they are number 1 in customer service. Check out my web pics..........Ed :sombraro:

We've had our 4 years and love it. Had 2 problems that were covered by warranty.

Jayco makes a very good trailer amd Jayco service is great.  They will take care of any problems you might have, (At least that has been my experience)

We have owned a Jayco popup and now the hybrid.

Just keep in mind that the service provided by the dealer can be more important than the manufacturer's service.  It is the dealer that has to get things done.

J-Bird, we had a circuit board replaced in our furnace and the hinge for our fold-over sink broke the particleboard. It was incorrectly screwed in. We got a whole new board. There were no questions asked. Our 12FSO is also know as Moose Lodge.

Before we upgraded to the hybrid we had a Jayco SG10 bought  new in 1999. (had it for 5 yrs). never had any problems with it.

Ther are some pictures of it on my web site.

I purchased a '95 1207 last summer and we love it!  I have some pictures here.   Look in the "1995 Jayco 1207 KB" album for most of them.  There are also a few in the "Forestville October 2005" album.

Quality made, loads of storage and enough room for me and all my shadows.  I've also had great luck with Jayco when I emailed a few questions to them.  I would definitely buy another Jayco.

We absolutely love our Jayco. We bought a 2004 Qwest 12A brand new, only had one warranty issue-a decal started to peel off of the side. My parents started with a jayco pop-up, and now have a TT. I figured I'd stay with what I know and bought one also. We would recommend Jayco to  anyone looking to buy!

Ours does not fold down -- it folds in :)

However, we are very happy with our Jayco Hybrid.  Sure, there are things about it that I feel any idiot would have done differently, but I can "correct" them -- this goes back to a common problem:

The "geeks" designing them never spend a millisecond in them.  I think that all campers would be much better if the designers were required to live in them an entire week! :D

Have a Jayco 2005 1207. Had bubbling in roof and poor side sealant from the factory-water got in.  Also had mold on the inside ends of the cap  - Poor factory seal where it joins the body of the trailer.  My 1977 Jayco pup always sealed well here.  Also had poor seams on the covers of the bed pulling loose.  Not much quality control at Jayco.

Contacted the factory where the uninterested rep took the info and said deal with your local dealer...thanks a lot pal!

Anyways, it took 2 tries at the dealer and he then ordered a new replacement cap and he ordered new covers for the bunks.  Still doesn't fit well on the body of the popup-but that's it I guess.

Am going to trade it in before it's value sinks, Have looked at the Starcraft line but it is basically the same as Jayco as they have the same owner.  Want quality for a fair price...tough to find today!

Check out Forest River pups... Flagstaffs and Rockwoods... for value and price...

But I am not badmouthing Jaycos.  They have always seemed pretty nice...

Thanks Kav and everyone for your imput on Jayco's...... I am trading in my 2003 16ft. shadow cruiser travel trailer because it put a big strain on my new 2005 dodge durango V-8.... Yes I said a stain .... its rated to tow like 6600 lbs I think, can't handle the 2100lbs Shadow Cruiser.  Tough getting up small hills etc.... plus the gas.....ugh !!!!! its a 4.7 lt. engine NOT a hemi.... so I am going back to a pop up.  Would rather keep the Shadow, everything is all set up, walk in and thats it.  Plus it has a bathroom and a/c already.  Thanks, J-Bird
