Need a bit of help here: We purchased a used Starcraft Spacestar last year. It was represented as being a 2000 model. However...on the frame tag the date of mfr. is Oct 1999, which I figured was reasonable for a 2000 model (like cars). I asked Starcraft to send me a brochure on the 2000 model and my unit is not there -- welle, it is by name but not by floorplan I'm starting to think I have a '99 model. Anybody have a brochure on '99 models I could confirm this with?

I don't know about Star Craft trailers, but what does your title/registration have on it?  My 1999 Coleman/Fleetwood trailer was made in December of 1998, but it is a 1999.  My trailer is not in the 1999 Coleman/Fleetwood brochure, or any brochure, but it is titled/registered as a 1999.  I hope your trailer is a 2000.:)

I, too, have a 2000 brochure for Starcrafts, and it shows a Spacestar model with a slide-out &  toilet with shower ... but you say that's not your camper ...

Now, I bought a new '99 leftover after the 2000 models had come out, hence why I have the 2000 brochure. Of course, my '99 was built in '99, and the title reads that it's a 1999.

Like what is already posted ... what year does the title say it is?

It was my understanding (according to the dealer I bought mine from), that the Starcraft models for 1999 and 2000 were identical except for maybe some of the tape decal dressing for the exterior. I know that my particular model was identical ... only the '99  was $1,500.00 less!

Thank you tlhdoc and flyfisherman for your response (and to any future responses).
The title says 2000...(and was priced accordingly!) My layout is almost the same as the (my) brochure, but my door is forward of the sink, not aft. Also, the brochure states that the converter comes with charging capability...mine does not have that according to the paperwork on the converter.
Looks like the previous owner did some "creative" wiring and I've had to straighten it out (did that a couple of weeks ago). Haven't used it since then, so it may be a 50/50 chance it will charge the battery. Next weekend I will set it up in the garage and check out all systems before our camp dat at the end of the month.
Life is exciting!

There was a Starcraft model (can't find that literature right now), that ended in 1998,  where the door was aft just as the 2000 Spacestar brochure shows. What I suspect happened is when all those rear door chassis where used up, a slight modification was made for the interior layout as to where the other door forward chassis could be used, which all other models of that size used anyway.
