Question 1999 dutchmen

I am thinking abot buying a 1999 dutchmen for $2500. Does anyone know anything about this brand of trailer. I know it is made by Thor Inc. but there is not much info out there on the brand its self. I heard Dutchmen stoped making pop ups in 2001.

I have a skamper also by Thor. I think it is like Chevy and Buick for GM. I think it is a good PU. I have only had one problem. It is with the fold-over sink. Check this area out.  I have no problems with my roof as my neighbor has with his PU (not Thor). Look at the PU like a used car, check it out.

Sounds a little high for a 1999.  Check the NADA site for the exact model, with the same equipment and make a judgement based on condition.

I have a 1999 Dutchmen 801D that values out on NADA at around $1950.  I bought it new in March of 2000 and have been pleased with it.  It has served our purposes up to now.  (DH now wants a potty.  Go figure...)

Thor stopped making Dutchmen about 2001 as you mention.  Made the same floorplans and renamed them Aero, I think.  Do a Google search on Dutchmen popups as part of your research.
