I spray silacone on the pullies as Coleman says, but are you supposed to lube the box where you put the crank, to crank up the top?  It seems my roof is harder to crank up that it was a few years ago.  Maybe I am just getting older.[:D]

tlhdocLee what kind of grease do you use?  Will anything fall out/off when the cover is removed?[:D]

 Thanks for the help.

Daddys Dream

I have a 96 Palomino Filly and it has two grease fittings on the tube/box.

Yep.  Get a nice soft pad out, lay it under the crank end of the camper, crawl under the camper and get comfy on that pad (you'll be here awhile) and begin undoing all those screws. :eyecrazy:   Once they are all out set the pan aside and there in front of you is that mysterious and legendary whiffle tree. :yikes:   Grease that puppy up real good, replace the pan, and crank it up and down a few times to distribute the grease.  Your popup should be much easier to crank now. :)
