Well I'm just sitting here looking out the window and watching the light snow flurries and enjoying the sight and dreaming of getting the pup out and camping.....The weather is cold for California it's 37 degrees right now and expected to get down to the low 20's.....The grandkids are doing their snow dance and dreaming of making snowpeople.  We have our wood stove going and just relaxing it's good sometimes just to sit back and enjoy.......Also, a good time to think of things needed to get the coming up camping season started.....Does the pup need anything?  Yeah right? Better question is there some gaget we can't live without. We are signed up for Vail Lake and calling about Yosemite tomorrow and Pismo have a couple of things to check before I can make to many plans.....Anybody get something new for the new camping season?  Have a good weekend and keep warm........Think I'll sit by the fire and enjoy a book... :W

I recently bought one of the Tool Box Grills from Camping World.  Seemed like a good concept, square box, detachable gas valve, tool tray to store things inside, not too expensive.

I would not recommend buying it.  I found that the method of attaching the legs did about the best job of making a simple task exceedingly difficult I have ever seen.  I have assembled many items and found this to be the most ridiculous that I have encountered to date.  We bought it 2 weeks ago, and it's still sitting in the living room, waiting to have those 16 (actually 15, I got 1 done) allen wrench headed bolts tightened with a provided allen wrench that is too short to turn.  The nuts are too small to be worked with a wrench, and the bolts are too long to be able to use a small socket wrench on the nuts.  They did about everything they could think of to make it hard.  Enough ranting, but this thing had better make the best burger I've ever had.

Don't worry, Cliff.  You'll be getting our little "So Cal Cold Front" in about 2 or 3 days.  :D

Supposed to reach 50F here today in Maine. Summer is here!!!!

The good thing about having the hybrid and storing it at home is that I can go into it at any time. Matter of fact I just came from it about 20 minutes ago.
At least it is a little camping fix.

As far as anything new for this season, not yet. We are contemplating a screenroom/add-a-room that attaches to the awning.

Just when everyone else is getting ready to go camping, it's snowing and hailing in Southern California!  What's up with that?

Oh well, this WEEK is our winter!

Next week, we're back into the perpetual summer!   :S

How about that, I'm talking to myself!!!  I finally got this thing put together.  It took $14 worth of new tools and the help of my wife to get the job done.  It's been sitting here for a month, I'd work at it sporadically.  She's tired of looking at it, so am I.  I just got it put together, haven't had a chance to use it.  I complained to Camping World about the thing, we'll see what comes of that.  I'm going to look for someone who might be able to weld these legs to the body, that's what should have been done from the manufacturer in the first place.  I'm sure these bolts are going to loosen up over time.  I would still recommend not buying this item.

well it is not like they have to put it together at home...they have all the tools and help they need at the factory...that is also why when windows come out with a new version they have to set up a dozen patches to fix there mistakes
