How many National parks, seashores, recreation areas, forests, monuments, historic sites, etc. have you visited in your lifetime?

This is meant to be an exhaustive response, so places visited while not camping or pop-upping, places visited in your childhood, and places in your own backyard count.

If it is administered by the National Park Service or the National Forest Service, it counts.

A whole bunch.  I will have to get out National Park Passport books out and start counting, then remember which ones we visited before we had the books.:)

That's a tough one....after looking at the NPS and NFS websites I found that many were there that i really never even thought about in that category.  I've lived in so many places over the years and visited so many things. I really was amazed at how much there was.    Goodness, just here in the DC/Northern Virginia area I could count a bundle.   Not counting living in Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Hawaii, New Jersey, and all the places visited in between.  :>  Very interesting Poll AB.....

I actually went through and looked at nps.gov and //www.fs.fed.us to count. I was surprised! I almost "blindly" guessed 6 for the poll, but after counting, I saw 24! Wow!

Interesting poll, AB.
