Brad, you may be in luck. DO NOT replace a perfectly good roof based on the possibility that the one you have might fail. The failure rate for the ABS roof is well below 50% (I'm not sure that there any "real" numbers) so you have a better than average chance that your roof is stable. If a '99 roof hasn't shown signs of sag, I'd say your odds are even better still. Our '00 Cheyenne had the ABS roof and I loved it. Never a worry about hail, it was less likely to leak and the thing looked good. Ours didn't fail but the wife wanted a roomier camper.:) The Alumitite roof on our '03.5 Mesa is...okay. I liked the ABS roof better though.

My advice to keep what you have and enjoy it! If it fails in the future (unlikely), there's no cost benefit in replacing it now vs. later.

You don't need to replace the roof unless it fails.  If it seals and it stays dry inside when towing in the rain, sitting in your driveway you are fine.:)

Calm down, Brad!  You've posted three times, and all three sound rather paniced about the roof.  If the roof situation was really bad, some lawyer would have already started a class action suit.  That hasn't happened, and probably won't ever happen.

Camping is about having a good time and relaxing.  That roof won't collapse, it won't tear up, and it probably won't sag.  If you get very unlucky and it does, deal with it then.  But until then, enjoy your pop-up.
