Camping Coxes

Quote from: jclarkDoes anyone else listen to music in their camper?
Oh, yeah!  We used to bring a little boom box, then my daughter's CD player with those little speakerse that don't take batteries. Finally my DH and BIL put in an inexpensive car stereo and we have speakers we hang from the cross beam on the roof with bungie straps (so they can be taken down when we break down the trailer).  We listen to it in the trailer all the time, and frankly, with the windows up and the door closed, you can't really hear it unless you're right next to the trailer, so I don't think you'll bother the neighbors.  We have listened to it when we're outside, but we don't crank it up so high that you can hear it more than 10 or 15 feet away.  And if you can -- we're not the Marilyn Manson or heavy metal type.  We listen to country and Christian mostly, with a little bit of '80s rock thrown in, so it's nothing offensive.

I know of some families who have to bring a TV and/or DVD player and video games.  We don't do that.  We're trying to get away from that frankly.  But I have to have my music!

only if it's music everyone wants to hear  ;)   I don't see why not...people watch TV and movies and it doesn't disturbed everyone so I assume, so why not music at the same volume level.. I HAVE to listen to music all the time so it's something I don't do when I'm camping besides nobody will let me bring my setup
