Opening - 2006

Just had to post to say that we opened the Westlake last night!!!  All went well....no varmit or water damage noted.  We're stocking it up now and getting it out to the site this weekend!

We are going camping this weekend too.  Everything is packed except the coolers which will be packed in the morning.  Have a great trip.

Congrats on the successful opening of the Westlake! It's such a good feeling to know all is well!

With the exception of a plumbing problem with the cold water supply into the galley. we also had a successful de-winterization and you can count us in as another family going camping this weekend! :-()

Glad it all went well.  I won't be camping this weekend, too many family things happen this weekend.  But next weekend, I'll be camping.  Second trip of the year, second trip ever in a pup.

We opened up too, so far no suprises. Fixed a drawer that had broke before the winters nap took place. Today I'll check out the water system , furnace and fridge.
 We hope to go camping the weekend after this weekend, that's when our fav local CG opens. I think...................

We don't have the same winterization considerations that you folks do, but I still love opening up the camper and smelling that "camper" smell.  

We haven't been camping since January and we're off next Thursday for  a 3-night trip.  We're finally supposed to have blue skies.  I can't wait!!!

We had a wonderful 6 day trip.  Got home tonight and getting ready for this coming weekend's trip.

Congrats on the sucessful opening of your pup.  Feels good that nothing went wrong during the winter...We got back from a 5 day stay on Monday and getting ready for a 3 day stay on Friday!  Happy camping!!!!
