I just wanted to give some feedback on Robin Williams' movie RV.

First, let me say that I am not a movie-goer. I don't usually watch movies, although we have recently found a small theater where there are no lines, and there are coffee tables in front of your chair for food/drinks/feet. So we go more often than I ever have.

Now, on to the review. I want you to imagine Robin Williams, one of the funniest men ever, driving a Class A RV and camping. Having to go through the dump station. Having to mess with an awning. Having to traverse some bad roads. Dealing with those extra-friendly neighbors at the campground. And you've got your movie.

This movie was hilarious! We thoroughly enjoyed it, and will probably get it when it comes out on DVD. It truly rivals the hilarity of The Long Long Trailer. How many movies have you seen where, when the credits start rolling, the movie audience begins to applaud? Not many, at least of the ones I've seen. There were several times when the audience was rolling in laughter, making it hard to hear things, but that was OK...I was one of the many making the noise, laughing.

Now for the bad part: The B word appeared twice. I wish it didn't appear at all, but by today's standards, that was pretty good. Other than that, I believe it was very family oriented.

I hope many of my other camping friends enjoy this movie!

I'm looking forward to seeing this movie.  I also want to know where that theater is.

Jan, it is the theater in charming downtown Franklin. If you need directions, let me know. Great little place. Less than 2 blocks from the parking garage, but don't go this weekend. There is a street fair in downtown Franklin.
