My '98 Coleman Mesa was advertised with an outdoor shower; however, I don't see any place to hook up a shower, nor do I have any shower necessities included. Can someone shed some light on what is meant by "outside shower"?  Thanks!

I think most of Coleman/Fleetwood's trailers have an outdoor shower.  It will be located in the left side (same side with electrical/water hookups.)  It will be hidden behind a door and will need a key to open.  You will find a hot/cold water regulator and a shower attached to a hose.   It's not extravagent but will do the trick if you have a privacy shelter.  We've used it to give the kids baths in a rubbermaid container and wash off feet when necessary.

My outside shower is just a little white door, about 5" x 12" that opens with the front door key. When I open that door, there is a shower head on about 3' of hose and a hot and cold water faucet. That's it. Just what the name implies, "Outside shower".

Here's ours with our shower tent set up with it:

I believe that it was an option that most dealers ordered on their trailers. Maybe your dealer didn't order it that way, or maybe the trailer's first owner didn't want it. It might not be there.

Most of the Coleman/Fleetwood trailers don't have an outdoor shower.  You have to have the hot water (optional on most models over the years) to have the shower.  Hot water and an outside shower are more common on newer PUs. :)

I was going to say the same thing.  No hot water, no outside shower.  No inside shower, either.  We have none of the above, with a newer Fleetwood camper.

I found it! I just didn't know where to look before my post. Thanks so much for the clear instructions!  :D

Glad you found it.

We found it to be a great option.... even when you don't use it as a shower.

We often use it to clean off most of our equipment (folding chairs, tables, stoves, coolers, awning poles, pegs, etc.) before storing them away in the PU during the break-down.

It's also great to hose off the kids, beach shoes, bathing suits, and the dog after coming out of the lake.
