Leaking canvas over beds

I just bought a 1997 Rockwood and I have a problem of water droplets forming on the bottom side of the canvas (inside above my head while sleeping in the pullout bed) when dew collects on the outside of the canvas in the evening and stays there all night long.  After about an hour after dew starts to form small droplets of water form on the inside of the canvas and as the droplets get big enough they will eventually fall on me and by morning I am a little wet.  Mildew also formed in this area but I have since cleaned this all up and installed damp-rid in the pop-up.
Does anyone have any idea what I can do to prevent this from happening?  If I need to waterproof the canvas, what product is the best to use and will last the longest?

Thanks in advance!!

Its condensation. Use a fan or open up the tent a little to let air circulate. The water wouldn't be there if you were not in it breathing.

Yep, condensation.  leave a window open slightly.  If the problem persists, open the window a little more.  Also, you could try THESE.  they are solar bunk end covers that reflect the heat back to its source.  I have been told they work well at reducing the amount of condensation.  We have a set and use them everytime.  But we never had a problem with condensation even before we had the covers.

good luck

YEP!! we use the Gizmos and they work great at preventing condensation. We used to wake up wet too. Not any more :D .

We tried not breathing.........that didn't work well at all :p .
