Has anyone ever camped at the Grand Canyon of the east?

tlhdoc

I am guessing that you mean the PA Grand Canyon near Wellsboro, PA.  MtnDave has camped in that area.  He hasn't posted lately, but maybe he has been reading and not posting.

I have been there, but it was years ago and we didn't camp.  Are you planning on going there this summer?:)

The precipitous walls, dramatic waterfalls and snaking pathway of Genesee Gorge have earned it the title "Grand Canyon of the East."

Located in Letchworth State Park, the waterway is popular for year-round recreation.

I haven't camped there but some others on here have.

If you are talking about Letchworth, I will be going there the end of next month and would be glad to get you any information that you would need.  Let me know.

We've lived in the area for many years.  We've been to Letchworth, but on a day basis.  We will be camping there for 4 nights starting this Thursday.  Can't wait.  Want do you want to know about Letchworth?

I have camped there too, during the big NE blackout a few years ago.  So I wonder which Grand Canyon old yeller is interested in.   Neither one of them really compares to the real Grand Canyon.:)

We camped at Hills Creek CG, very close to this area, it was a nice CG, small lake, rented Kayaks, hiking path around lake was very nice.

Check it out!
