Hello    new to the team here..   Just wanted to let you guys know
that I had just completed a job that nobody likes or cares....
Replacing a broken main cable on my 96 Dutchmen fold down.
Now Im kinda handy with the tools and all and I really didnt know what
I was getting myself in to but with about 20 ft of cable, basic hand tools and alot of patience you can do it in about 1.5-2 hrs.
Just dont to forget get that grease gun out and find those zerks and
grease the crap out of the main rail[mine was completely dry]
Good luck and see ya round

Hello Laner,

I'm new here too.

My DW just ran across your post...

We have a '94 Dutchman Pop-up (10'). I just discovered (yesterday) while greasing the zerks, that the main cable (just prior to the winch) is fraying, and began wondering how/if I could replace it. I'd appreciate any hints / words of wisdom you could provide. Thanks
