Okay...I hope someone can understand what I am looking for.  We are new to pop ups and I do not know the correct terminolgoy for the parts that I am asking about!

On the pop up hitch end-the part that goes over the ball there is a "cuff" that slides in place after you are attached to the ball.  There should be a pin that goes through that "cuff" to secure it, however the previous owner had been using a piece of wire...we would prefer to have the correct pin.  If someone could tell me what this is called I would be able to do an online search!

Also, the correct name for the "cuff" would be appreciated!!
Thanks a bunch!

p.s.-its a 1993 Skamper.

Cuff could be latch.  I don't know.  I know what you're talking about though.  Those pins are easy to loose.  I've got several floating around the northeast US at this point.  An RV dealer would have something that would work.  Try to find one that has a locking bail build into the pin.  I find that those are harder to lose.  A clevis pin from Home Depot sized correctly to fit the hole would work also.

The part is called the coupler latch.  You can go to Wal-Mart or an RV dealer to get a pin.  You can also use a pad lock or get a locking pin.:)
