North-South Lake booking window ?

I have a question about when is the correct day to call or go online for reservations at NS Lake.

As I am typing this, I literally just got home from North Lake 10 minutes ago. You can make reservations at www.reserveamerica.com up to 9 months in advance from your arrival date. The minimum stay is 2 nights, and the maximum is 2 weeks. As you said sites book up really fast on the weekends during the summer. There are always cancellations, so just keep checking and I'm sure you'll find something come up!
 
Where are you from??  You seem to be camping around my neck of the woods...  lol  I hope one time we can bump into each other.

We are from Long Island, and I've been trying to book trips that are not too far to help prevent hearing "Are we there yet???" as much as possible! Maybe if one of the COTOC trips next year is close enough, we will join you!

We just got back from Jellystone yesterday, and the kids really did love it.  They are already asking when we will be back.  I don't mind that type of vacation where there is a game room, splash pool, and all the extras, but I do want them to experience all different types of CGs.

So, if I want to try for July 13th of 2007, I should start on October 13th, right?  I don't need to worry about some "1st of the month" timing that I read about somewhere?
