Hi

Anyone out there have some recommended campsites with full hookups for trailering a 21' in the White Mt or southern NH area?  Haven't had much luck so far this season with overcrowded campsites with 'seasonals' getting all the better ones.  Did try 2 up in the Campton area of NH. Not bad but looking for better.

thanks in advance,

Marcus

Another place to try that we have enjoyed is Lost River Campground.  It's towards the southern end of the White Mountains, but was one of our favorites when we lived in Massachusetts.

BTW, this would have fit better in the North Atlantic forum than the poll forum.  Check out the reviews there for potential campgrounds.

Marcus,

What ones did you go to in Campton?  Our favorite campground is Moose Hillock in Warren, NH.  We go there just about every year for a week.  Another nice one is Danforth Bay Resort in or near Madison, NH.  I haven't been there for a few years, but it was nice when we were there last.

Try this link to take a look at the state parks in NH.

Our favorites are Umbagog and Lake Frances but they are quite a drive from your area.  Probable about 4 hours.

We stayed at Bear Brook a few years ago.  Nice park with bike trails and hiking trails.  Only downside was that we didn't like the shower setup.
Didn't allow for a lot of privacy.

We use to stay at Branch Brook in Campton, NH a few years back.  Haven't been there recently but they now have a pool and not that much of a drive up to the White Mountains.

Whitsend in Ossippe is now one of our favorites for local camping.  The owners, Jan and Dan are real nice people.

Main drawback is the bathroom situation.  If you have a site a distance from the office, they have portapotis but they are kept clean.  Main bathroom is nice and they do have a pool.  Sites are a decent size and well shaded.

The campground is on the BearCamp River and it is a nice kayak ride down to Lake Ossippee.

Just noitced that you wanted full hookups.  Sorry but I don't think any of the cg's except Branch Brook would have full hookups but would have elec and water.
