New to the forum and hope this isn't a rehash of an old thread. I was hoping to hear some pro's and con's of installing a rooftop carrier on my 06 Niagra. I tow with a pickup and we normally take "everything" with us. The lawn chairs are always a pain to pack and I'd like to put them on the roof of the camper.
Has anyone had a good or bad experience with them? I just don't like the idea of putting holes in the roof.

There was a thread about this recently, but for the life of me I can't find it!

Anyway ~ check your owners manual.  Mine says not to strap anything directly to the roof, but to add rails first.  I assume to more evenly distribute the load.  You also need to check weight limits on the roof ... if you have AC it wouldn't take much to put you over the limit.

If I find that other thread I'll post the link ...
