We moved to the country last year and mice got into our camper over the winter.  I vacuumed, scrubbed ever inch I could get to (except the canvas), but we went camping this weekend and I kept detecting a stank urine odor... the mice had nested on the king size pull out.  My husband thought he smelled the urine on the canvas too. I am looking for any and all suggestions for getting the odor out.  I have read the earlier postings on washing the foam, but I may need to  replace the foam... does anyone have a supplier lead? Also, I am thinking that I should wash the canvas with a bleach solution?

At least for a start...the only thing that I can recommend (personnally) is to wash with vinegar... I use it in bowl around the house... we have 4 dogs and when it rains, we have the "wet dog" odor real strong, but with the bowls sitting around, found the smell very minimal... and you don't have a vinegar smell...

You need to check with your PU manufacturer to see what is safe to use on your tenting.  A commercial pet oder neutralizer may be needed.  Good luck and let us know how it comes out.:)
