Not the whole weekend -- the gaggle of people were just for the one evening!  Ordinarily, it was my wife, baby, puppy and myself.  The rest were "squatters" who were evicted when the margaritas ran out :D

Gone-Camping

My problem with the U-Shape dinette wasn't climbing over it to get into the front bunk, frankly speaking that would actually make it a little easier (well, easier for an old fart like me). However, I often have guests (niece & nephew and their friends) and there would inevitably have someone sleeping there, and of course the younger ones go to bed before I do. This would have left me the chore of trying to climb into the front bunk OVER one or more sleeping kids. I might add they sleep longer than I do, I would have to climb back over them getting up. Letting them have my bunk end was NEVER an option either!!

The other thing I didn't care for, was when in "Table mode" and someone in the middle if the "U" wanted in or out...everyone that was outbound has to get up to let that person make their move. My desire to go camping was usually to make life simpler, and the U-shape just didn't work for me. So when I went shopping for my Hybrid...I wouldn't even consider another U'shape unit...
