Wow I can't believe that you are committing yourself to go see the Steelers play at this season's Super Bowl.  That is really great since you are not a Steelers fan.:D

HrH PrincessLeia

You're all mistaken. It's the Patriots who are going to come out on top. :U

I think it's reasonably safe to assume it WON'T be the Titans in the Super Bowl.   :(   (Sigh).  I guess I'm learning all about true fans sticking with their team no matter what.  So, Go Titans!! :!

The Steelers will rust, the Eagles will molt.  Infortunately, the Vikings are destined to be the Chicago Cubs of football...IF they make it to the Super Bowl, they'll be sure to be blown out.

I'd go with the Pats again, but I just don't think they'll do it.

My DD#1 and DSIL are in North Carolina.  Dare I go with the Panthers?

Football.  The biggest waste of time since camping. :D

I'm going to stick with the Steelers...always do.  It's not their year to rust, but I've hung with them through rust and shine years.  Heck, I'm even a Pirates fan, that's how bad it is.  Steel City all the way.  Penguins, anyone?  At any rate, I would anticipate another playoff appearance this year for the "Stillers".    I'd be watching Indianapolis, they should have a good run this year.  Cincinnati did well last year, they won the division over Pittsburgh.  They'd be worth watching this year.  Giants might be interesting, too, but I don't think they'll have the success in the NFC that Indy will in the AFC.  I don't really know the NFC teams as well as the AFC.  It'll be a neat game to watch this Sunday, but I don't buy into the Manning vs Manning thing.  I think Minnesota's ship will sink.  Green Bay will pack it up early.  Now, where's the betting window?

BTW, Buffalo allows RV tailgating in their parking lots for the WEEKEND.  Anyone up for a trip?  Could be dry camping at it's best.

Ain't NOTHING dry about tailgating.  :!  (Especially at an Iggles game)  ;)

Dry camping, wet tailgating.  Best of 2 worlds.  Too bad there won't be a Stillers/Iggles game.  Preseason doesn't cut it.  Actually, I was at a Pirates game than night.  We did tailgate before the game, but not with the camper.

One game does not a season make.  I said Jacksonville plays Pittsburgh tough, and that showed last night.  It was a great defensive game by both teams.  Could have gone either way until the last couple of minutes.  Actually, I was expecting Pittsburgh's defense to score the winning touchdown, but that was not to be.

There has only been one team in the NFL that ever went undefeated...the Miami Dolphins back in the '70's, I believe.  Every other Super Bowl winner has lost games the year they won the Super Bowl.  I'm sticking with the Steelers.  Always have, always will.  "Again" is still possible, we've got 14 more games to go.  15-1 is a nice record!  But I'll stand by my Steelers even if they're 1-15.  Actually, if that happened, I might even get to buy a ticket and see them play!

True -- but since we each get an opinion, here's mine:  I thought the Steelers' offense looked pathetic.

And that, as a Packer-backer like my daddy before me, I understand!!   :p

That's one of the reasons why I said I thought the defense would score!  The defense looked better on offense than the offense did.  Roethlesburger's had too much hospital time, not enough game time.  Actually, he probably should have sat out this game also.  No Bus.  No Randle El razzle dazzle.  Oh, well.  We'll wait until this weekend, but from where we live, we don't see them often on TV.
