The Curse ALWAYS works...

Bill Cosby explained why we have kids like we do.  It's because of our parents.  All through our childhood, many of us heard "I HOPE WHEN YOU GROW UP YOU HAVE KIDS JUST LIKE YOU!" This curse was usually declared immediately following discovery of some childhood sin, or when frustrations as parents reached the boiling point.

While I do not recall ever projecting the curse onto my children, and I am sure neither did PJay, they have all heard me delcare "The Curse always works!"  It looks like it's working already.

You see, when DD was a newborn, she would occasionally clap down tight with her gums (and later with her teeth) while nursing. Those teeth were the primary factor in deciding it was time to wean.

Well, our newborn granddaughter Eiley, while nursing yesterday, used her gums to maintain her grip on something when she sneezed.  :eyecrazy:  New to nursing, Mom was quite sore.  :%  Her first thought was "The Curse is working already."   :yikes:

It's hard to not laugh. :Z

Oh my Heavens.

Oh yeah.

I'm getting paid back for my raising.

My son, age 18, is a good kid :screwy:.  The biggest thing is he sometimes thinks I'm wrong.  I talk to my bride and tell her that I hope he has one just like him.  My dear departed mother (as much as I love/loved her, she coulda given mean lessons to Leona Hensley) told me repeatedly that I was getting paid back.  Thank God my Dad's hair didn't start graying until he was in his 70's.
