Hey, Dave, I just moseyed over to The Store to see what was new (that section was blank!), so I checked out a few other subheadings.

I noticed that you have Pro-Rac's bike racks....why don't you show their kayak racks?

I had mine installed by the dealer, so that did not void the warranty and they are excellent.  They use Thules.  The placement of your a/c may decide how many sets you can install, but with my 02 Jayco West 8U, I was able to have two sets.

The downside (there's ALWAYS a downside, isn't there) is if your campsite is not right by the put-in, you might have to load it/them on top of your TV anyway, but loading two boats by myself on top of the PU is a cinch.

I am also looking at Kayak racks. Again not sure to do the PUP or the TV, but as you say, if not by the put in then you may need to load them on the TV anyhow. However do you plan to leave them on the PUP when stored at home? I live in a nice suburb, relatively crime free but I'm still unsure as to whether leaving a couple of nice kayaks on the pup is a good idea. I could lock them down etc. What do others do? If you end up storing them in the garage then it kind of negates the carrying them on the PUP in the first place.

I wouldn't leave kayaks stored on top of the PUP unless they were all in a garage!!

For me, the PUP racks are an "as well as" not "instead of" on the TV.

I got a nice pair of small "cradles" made for sit-on-top kayaks for about $80-90.  They just clamp/screw onto the TV's roof racks.  They are easy to leave on all the time..not like my Thule "J" racks, which I do use if I'm taking two boats.
