I also have a trailite hybrid and am having a problem with condensation in the front storage area (the front interior wall actually feels wet) have you had this problem and if so what solution did you come up with?    Thanks

I have a Trail Cruiser by Trail-Lite....basically a wider version of the Bantam... I have a front storage compartment that goes all the way across, but have not had any problem with that...even during winter months.

Question... Are you having this problem only during cold weather camping, or all the time?

You could also try altering the point where cold & warm meet. I have a couple of thoughts on this, one would be to place some insulation on the wall inside the compartment area. My interior wall does get very cold, I placed some reflectix along the wall, seems to help.

Or warm it up by placing some form of mild heating inside the compartment (lamp with 100w lightbulb or something)... just make darn sure it's placed safely in there and not leaning up against the wall...

I did notice a minimal amount of condensation in the summer, but these last few cold nights it's been much worse. There is no insulation on the front wall like there is on the sides (I guess because it's curved). I did just today order a dehumidifier for use over the winter, but of course that means running electric to it all winter (I tried the chemical ones-no help). Now how are you using the reflectix, on the out side or inside.

I tried the reflectix along the interior front wall and NO MOISTURE Even with all that rain yest.   Thanks

On that front wall I've tried it both ways....though it's kind of difficult to get it in place in the middle of the wall inside the storage area. I have had good luck using it inside too...

Lowes also sells packages of foam boards, they are 13 5/8" by 48" and 3/4" thick... these can be glued to the front wall inside the storage area, that will provide great insulation into the cabin area...

I had already made an appointment with a RV service to find the leak but cancelled it. I just set the reflectix in place along the inside wall and it worked. I didn't want to glue just in case it didn't work and then I would have to peel it off and make a real mess.

I think it depends on what you and I mean by the inside wall... Since there is a wall that seperates my front storage area from the interior of the trailer, both of them are actually inside. I would NOT recommend glueing anything to the wall on the INTERIOR of the trailer!! However, on the inside wall of the storage area, that would be a different story...I'd glue what ever it takes there since it's never seen.

I agree, just placing reflectix on the INTERIOR front wall does work wonders! In cold weather camping, I surround the inside of the entire canvas bunk end with reflectix too...accept for the top of the canvas, that piece of reflectix must go on the outside since there is no way to hold it 'UP' on the inside...
