That IS freaky!  Of course there are a bunch of numbers but only a few symbols, but still, the chances they would get the correct one all of the time is slim.

I too want to know how they do this.

It is quite simple.  Your final answer will always be a multiple of 9.  All of the 9's have the same symbol.  Play again?  The 9 symbol is changed, but all the 9's have the same symbol.  The largest possible result is 81, so the symbol next to 90 is irrelevant, as are all the non-multiples of 9. (They also change those with every game.)
