Under normal conditions I have a small "garden" hose from the sink drain to blue container under the camper, when full I disconnect cap and off to the dump station to empty.

In Dec. we are going to Fort Wilderness with full hook up, the only availble site and thats ok, my ??? is there a fitting/cap use to connect the small drain hose to the sewer to eliminate filling/empting old blue?

I know of the fitting for the  bigger drain hose that wedges in the sewer, but I only have the small drain. No shower and just a porta potty, the only drain is for the sink.

Thanks

there is no reason why you couldn't use your garden hose and drain directly into the on-site waste connection.  you will need to improvise something to seal around the opening to keep the smell from seeping out.  there should be some permenant cap on the site.  you can open the cap, put your hose down the drain and close the cap on top of your hose.  then use some foam or something equally squishy to fill the gap.  make sure whatever you use is disposable because you will never get that smell out.  I looked around the web and didn't see any fitting specifically designed for connecting a garden hose to a sanitary sewer.  if it exists, i'm sure someone else will chime in.  the other option is simply to keep doing what you are already doing, and when the container gets full dump it on site.  that will at least save you some walking and lugging the heavy container around.

There are adapters available that utilize a rubber "donut" that fits the sewer inlet and a plastic piece that fits inside the donut with a hose connector attached.

Clear as mud?  Here is the one that Camping World sells, but they may be available at WalMart or your local RV supply store.

The adapter Chip linked to is what you want. Remember you still need the "donut" adapter to mount it to.
If all of a sudden when you use the setup the sink slows down draining it's because of a sag in the hose where it forms what's called a secondary trap. You might have to prop up the hose so it keeps going down hill.

As for me I had a horrible time remembering to put the gray water tank back in the trailer if I pulled it out to save space when going to campgrounds with sewer hookups. So I just gave up and use the tank and run it over to the sewer connection to dump when it's full. I found it was better to have the tank and not need it; than to need it and not have it when dry camping...LOL

I leave my grey water tank in the camper and carry a foam donut with the adapter for a sewer/garden hose connection.  That way I have which ever one I need, mostly the tank.:)

Once again, THIS SITE ROCKS!!! Thanks for all the input, I will have the fitting & donut from CW  in use at Fort WIlderness. I don't know how my Dad was able to take our family camping in a pop up 40 years ago with out Pop Up Times.
