Hello from Disney World in Florida!

This time we are not in Hawaii, not in Las Vegas, not in Flagstaff, not in....

I guess I am just perpetuating the story that we posted to PUT on our honeymooon in Hawaii.

Believe it or not, we aren't doing much today. It is now 2pm, and I have only left the room to get breakfast. We have cut and run for 4 days, and just wanted to break. We will run more for the next 3 days.

We drove through Fort Wilderness on a bus, but didn't get to see much. We wanted a golf cart tour of the campground but "no one was available", although we could see people sitting in the back office, arms folded. Oh well.

We are happy we are here WITHOUT kids. For this to be the "Happiest Place on Earth", we have seen a lot of unhappy kids, especially at 2pm or so.

Will post and read more on the board when we get back. This room keyboard is a bit cumbersome and slow.

Later!

Larry, I had to laugh at this comment.

My fil always said he knew when it was 3 o'clock at Disney.  This was about the time that kids would start getting cranky and the parents were losing their tempers.

:)

Yep. You can just about set your watches by it. Today, we were a late arrival, not getting there until about 1130am. We saw a kid griping and moaning and crying. I told Holly it had started EARLY, but then realized it might not be so early to them, depending on their time zone.

That reminds me of when we took our DD to Disneyland 2 years ago. We were in line waiting for it open.  A girl about 10 years old threw a little hissy fit because she had to wait for the place to open.  Her dad looks down at her and said "You can't be grumpy, this is the happiest place on Earth"  I just about died at Disneyland that day I was laughing so hard.
