We visited this park in March and again in October 2006. This is a nice park with spacious sites. The swimming beach is a ways away from the camping areas so you would need to bring bikes or drive over there. There is a basketball court and two tennis courts by the beach house. The roads are all paved and all of the sites looked level in both camping areas. There were a couple of interior ones that had a steep incline to go up but was level once you got there. Picnic table, in-ground campfire pit, seating around the campfire, separate charcoal grill and a waist high work table next to the grilling area round out the campsites. There is little difference between loop 1 and loop 2, except I think that there was a fishing pier close to loop 2. There is a breeze off of the lake so if you go in the summer the lakefront sites should be especially nice. There is an office/camp store that is off in another direction.

I stayed there last fall with the kids. Had a great time and only had about 12 others at the swimming area. We drove over since camping on the other side. We did swim right out from the site for a bit, real muddy if not at the beach area.
