Wondering if anyone has pics of the interior of thier pop up all decked out with a theme.  I seen a pu for sale with a NASCAR theme (not for me).  I want to do a theme in our pu this spring.  Just another attempt at being unique.  Thanks.

My Starcraft still remains the same as it came ... (which I like), but when I bought the little bugger the first of 2000 (a 1999 "left over" model), there were a couple of other models there, too. One of those other models was a "Field & Stream" edition, and what a great interior for a popup! Just what I would have liked ... BUT, they were very fond of that interior trim!  I suppose they (Starcraft) had to fork over to the Field & Stream magazine folks some royalty, but Lord have mercy, as much as I liked it could not see that kind of extra bucks! Since interior decoration is not my calling, guess I'll just leave it as is!

Just took a trip up to one of our inland lakes here in North Carolina ... the weather around here has been just great for the last week or so ... warm in the day and just perfect campfire weather for the evening. We had us a great campfire going the last night and I inadvertently managed to keep the popup camper door open for a time so that lots of campfire smoke got inside! Now I have it open to maybe air it out a little. But then, campfire smoke is not all that bad for a springtime surprise when it's first opened for the season!

Absolutely love the "Field & Stream" theme.  I think I will do something like that.  Something like log cabin/camp theme.  Thanks for the idea.

I have a Moose/cabin theme going on in my camper.  I tore down the valance and put up a green plaid one.  I then got a fabric that had an outdoor/cabin theme and covered the cusions.  I found some iron decorations with moose and trees on it and put that up.  New twig hardware replaced the stock door handles to the cabinetes.  I also had got some "wallies" for christmas with moose and trees...they are wall paper cut-outs and I placed them around the camper on the wood surfaces.  I also came across a mirror with moose and bear, as well as a shower curtain for the cassette toilet.  It is all very cute and I just love it.  It was not hard to do, just took some time and creativity.

That sounds really nice.  Exactly what I was thinking about.  Do you have pics of your wonderful makeover?

I have pictures, but I don't know how to post them.  Any help?

Here is a link to a recent article Dave did about people who have decorated their PUs.

My favorite was a 1960's airstream decked out in all CocaCola fabrics (I saw it online somewhere).  I'm a big diet Coke drinker.  It just goes to show that the skies the limit.  I would suggest going to a fabric store, pick out a "focus" fabric you like at a price you can afford with a theme you can live with.  Then pick out coordinating fabric, knick-knacks, dishes, etc. that goes with the main fabric.

I haven't really changed my PU yet, since it's fairly new (and I like the forest green it came with).  I did however make some pillow cases with matching green fabric with bright song birds on it.  I also have a thermometer with bright red cardinals.  So, I guess my theme is forest green with song birds....all because I found fabric that kinda matched what was there already.

I also did the "lodge" theme.  moose & evergreens.  replaced all the curtains with a soft green plaid and in the center of each curtain, cut out a large (approx 2 ft tall & 1 1/2 wide) diamond shape of fabric with the moose/evergreen theme and fused it on. Considered doing the whole curtain in the lodge theme, but way too busy.

Also did the cushions in the plaid and next will do the quilts in wide soft green and biege stripes.

good idea to switch out the draw pulls w/ the twig ones !!!

my old pop-up was cow & sunflower themed - just tryin' to keep it FUN !

We recovered our cushions with moose and plad, red plad curtains, butcher block type counter tops, repainted cabinets but stayed with the old cabin loop pulls. My wife wanted the twig pulls but I was worried about snagging on them. Im not sure where the pictures are to post but their are some in a past Pop Up Times magazine, 2-3 years ago. We also have moose patio lights, moose candle holders and a moose throw blanket.  My wife is a bit of a moose collector, over 200 moose items, paintings, pictures, sculptures ect throughout the house. That has also been my nickname since I was 12 and she has collected me too.

I saw the "Field & Stream" decor and I loved it!,  but I was not buying a camper at the time. I like the autumn leaf design in my new Taos or I would redo everything in a "woodsy" motif....
Good Luck whatever design you pick.
