What type of chalking (caulking) works best for pop up roofs. My chalking (caulking) on my roof is starting to crack, it does not leak but i would like to repair it before a problem starts. Please advise.
Thanks

My dealer recommended a construction caulk that is not water soluble. I had to use kerosene as the solvent to clean. Been great stuff. Not sure what brand it was now, because that was about 3 years ago. It was a purplish tube.

My dealer recommends Sikaflex 291.  It's a polyurethane Marine sealant/adhesive.

It's mainly used by boatbuilders to caulk around deck fittings and port windows.

The stuff is impervious to UV and will probably outlast the RV it's used on for simple caulking.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I'm going to try and find it. That makes since and if its lasted for 3 years on yours its got to be pretty good.

Thanks you very much, I actually printed out the link you supplied. My pop up is only a year old and its not leaking but the chalking is peeling and cracked so I want to repair before I have an issue and this was perfect.
Thanks allot.
