We're sorry that you didn't make it down. It was beautiful down there.

A little rain on Saturday night, just to wash things off a little. The rest of the weekend was great. We had a good time with "Griff" & parents. Doofus has a new best buddy :-() .

Carolyn was so impressed with Lori's DO, that we stopped and bought one on the way home.

Just enough rain to make us stay inside to teach a little boy the game of Yahtzee and to make sure the new HTT bunk ends didn't leak (they didn't :# ); just enough time to spend watching that same little boy giggle as a silly bird sat on his shoUlder giving him kisses, and just enough firewood to sit with friends, eat some s'mores, drink some wine, and realize that the North Star is totally different when viewed on land than when viewed on water. (Luv ya, Wayne! )
 
Carolyn, Congrats on the purchase!! Moose and Paula will tell you that if you don't leave a camp-out with us w/o buying something, then you didn't really camp. I expect to see great things from your "black pot" at FF next weekend.

Our apt is full of smoke, there's smoke rolling out all of our opened windows & doors as I sit here freezing my "Tush" (a new word that I learned this weekend :p ) off.

The really strange part is that she is seasoning an empty pot.........where is the joy in that :confused: . I think that we are embarking on a strange new journey here. :yikes:

I missed you too..I kept going back and forth but the "unfun" Mom won.

trying to teach Kevin time management. he was given a project Thurs nite , Due Tues.  so Thurs nite:... nothing..Friday nite: dance so nothing.... saturday:  Mom out cleaning the garage (while Dan outta town :Z )...still nothing.  :mad: so come sunday....no beach..yes I am "THE" meanest mom on orange county  :J I'm thinking it sunk in a bit especially when he almost didn't have time to finish it last night. one can only hope :rolleyes:
He's not going to know what hit him next year when he starts High school :eyecrazy:
