Propane fueled generator

Anyone have a propane fueled generator?  If so what is your experiences with it?  Personally I would rather carry an extra propane tank instead of a jug of gasoline.  I've been looking at the following generator, but it is pretty heavy, and a bit loud.  I like the Yamaha EF2400Is, but not sure if it will run the A/C, it's gas, and more $$.  The weight and noise are much more to my liking with the Yamaha...  If I could just find this same Yamaha generator in propane that would be great! (assuming it would run the A/C)

Main problem with using a propane genset on an RV without a large onboard tank is hauling/storing the propane needed. Folks with large RV's with large onboard propane tanks talk about running out of propane over a long weekend.  PU folks complain about a furnace sucking up propane. A genset will suck up a lot more.

Propane definitely burns cleaner and you'll have less maintenance issues over the long term. But, propane has less BTU's per unit of volume than gasoline so the genset will be derated by apx 10-12%.
