Follow up to my Mess up

As many of you know, before we left for the Buellton campout, I made a huge mistake in not pushing my electric cord all the way into the trailer and ultimatley yanked out the power cord along with the converter and electric panel complete with the wood surround it was mounted to. I made a quick re-wire repair so we could make the trip so alot of you saw the damage. Well, I took the trailer to the dealer on the Monday we returned and told them the story. They said leave it and they would see what they could do. Jayco has a 2 year hitch to bumper factory warranty on all their trailers, my 2 years is up on April 30th. They called me last Saturday to tell me the trailer was done, and that even though this did not qualify as a legit warranty issue(mainly my stupidity), Jayco fully covered it as a "Customer Appriciation" type of thing. I'm writing this to give props to Jayco for taking care of their customers. Not only do they offer a great warranty to begin with, but seem to actually care about the people that purchase their trailers and want them to come back as customers in the future.  Thanks Jayco!

congrats on the warranty work. it works both ways here. when a company screws up we spread the word and when a company gives great customer service, people like you spread the word  :)  great job !!
