Okay I have to brag about my boy..We're so proud of him.

Kevin has been accepted to Mater Dei HS with "Distiction" deprised from recommendation, GPA, and has a composite score on the placement test of above 85% . he scored 98.9% !!!!!!!    :-()  :-()

his Grade equivalent scores are

skills-reading 10.7
math 11.5
language 10.9
total 11.0

he has a few more placement tests to take . he has been accepted into english honors w/o taking the test, but will be investigating this further...writing a quality paper is a big effort for him

he gets all his smarts from me :D

Even tho it would be cool to be a buckeye I don't see Kevin going there . we has about 3 choices in mind so I see UC Irvine or MIT. but let's get thru our fisrt year of HS first :eyecrazy:

Congratulations Kevin.  I wish we lived near by so you could tutor Kendra in math.  She is so her mothers daughter:rolleyes:  .  Thank goodness in my day you only needed 1 year of math to graduate.  It took me 2 years to pass that.:o

Amen and hallelujah to that!  I'm right with ya on that one!  I'm terrible at math.  Emily is good at math, but still gets stuck occasionally.  Pitiful when I can't even help my 7th grader because her Algebra 1 is way beyond what Algebra 1 was when I took it as a freshman!

Congrats Kevin!

UC Irvine is one of the top schools in the country and MIT is the cream of the cream. Dee, if you ever have an emergency my office is only 4 miles from MDHS. Congratulations again Kevin.

I am embarrassed to say that I can't even do Chris' 6th grade geometry.   This is why I am a grown-up and never want to go back to school.:o ;)
