hello every one we are new pop up owners of a 74 something or other and was almost totally refertbished 4 years ago so all of the important stuff was pretty much redone. The canvas was replaced with with vinel and all the the cushions and floor were redone. they also put in a new ceiling and when i looked at it i could tell they had a leak and sold it to me for $300. What a steal !!!!
but upon taking the ceiling out what a mess the roof was repeired with fiberglass not that that is bad but the job they did was horrid so now i need to peel scrape and grind off the old fiberglass to replace it with new to fill the cracks. I am thinking of getting some thin plastic and moling it to the celing and contact cementing it just as a added barrier for the leasks and to keep the fiberglass clean and for adheasion. I appreaciate any advice that you might give.

Thanks guys and if thier is anyone camping in southwest ontario let me know I could give you all some sood ideas for campgrounds in the area; expeasially in the windsor essex county area

Hello Brimnerclan and welcome to PUT
sounds like you got a great deal on your PU.
it sounds like you are trying to fix the roof leak from the inside instead of the outside. really need to fix it before the water gets into the ceiling area. I have heard of people using white paneling to replace there ceilings.
good luck
