I replaced one tail light on the PU because it was broken.  I HTOUGHT everything was working well, but before we left for Campland a couple days ago, I realized that everything works well until I turn on the head lights.  If the Headlights are on the replaced light just stays on, it doens't blink or brake. (the other side is fine)  Is it a bad ground?  or did I do something wrong?  Seemed pretty straightforward to me at the time... guess not.

Sounds to me like you wired the H/L to the T/S bulb. Some lamps have one bulb with 2 filiments. Some have 2 seperate bulbs. Either way, you should have 1 wire for the stop and T/S, 1 wire for the tail lights (headlight circuit) and 1 wire for the ground. 3 wires total (although some have 4). It kinda sounds like you may have wired the headlights onto the T/S-brake light circuit.

The other thing that you may have done is you may not have grounded the lamp.
