I just installed a A/C in my 2000 Colemen Sedona Pop-up camper and I know that it came A/C ready with the 14x14 hole in the roof and the inside braces but I don't know how to wire it up is there a special outlet ( I see some campers have these for the a/c) or do I have to harrd wire it in and if so is there a special place any help would be great thanks

I have a coleman niagara with a/c.  Mine plugs into an outlet near the floor under the dining table.  The wire is rolled up and velcroed to the roof in the right rear corner with a velcro strap when not in use.

My Coleman Tacoma is wired exactly the same way as mjdfarm's.

The outlet is a 20A outlet. It looks a lot like a regular 3 prong 15A outlet except one of the flat connectors is turned at a 90 degree angle. There is also a separate 20A circuit breaker in the converter, dedicated to that outlet.

I too have installed an AC unit. I have a 1996 Coleman Laredo PU. I'm not familiar with the wiring of the inverter.  I believe I have 30amp inverter system. There are 3 outlets one on the front wall and one on the back wall, then there is one on the wall by the dining table. This outlet has GFI switches on it. Can this outlet be used for an AC unit ? BTW : I have a 5000 BTU AC unit.

It should work fine.  The plug on my a/c is different as described above.  The outlet near the floor by table is shaped to fit the plug.  Check for a separate breaker for that outlet.

If you have a 5,000BTU AC, it should do OK in any 110V outlet. Check the label on the AC unit but I believe that it will be around 10A.
