I'm not a Dutchman owner but some things are kinda basic ...
What size tires are on the camper? (I suspect the size is 5.30 X 12)
How many lug bolt holes in the rim?

That plastic "thing" your referring to, could that be a foldaway clothes hanger that's about standard equipment for most popups?

fly thanks for the reply.
Your spot on with the 5.3 x 12 rims - obviously 12 is 12 inches , what is the 5.30.Too big for inches to each stud!
They are 4 stud rims - 12 inch. Need to know stud dimensions centre to centre.
The fold down thingy - well yeah probably your right again...
marty
Await stud dims if possible.

This tire sizing is a carry over from a previous era when bias tires where in full swing. This was called the "numeric" system and the 530 was the section width of the tire.

The distance between the stud bolt holes on the rim look to be 2 5/8" (as best I can measure).

It's very common these days to have both tire and rim to come as a unit. True, still can buy them seperate, but if you were to visit a Wal-Mart store today (in the tire department) they sell both the tire and rim as one unit ... in fact, if you were to order out a tire seperate, it would cost almost as much as buying the combo tire & rim.

Hey fly thanks for the reply.
I am in Australia so WALMART doesnt exist for me...
Do you know the cost of the combo you speak about? I will definately need a rim/tyre if I cannot source one here in OZ.
Maybe I could get someone to shoot me over one from USA....
Is it possible to get a walmart price online?
Thanks
Marty

(Not YET it does'nt ... give them blokes a little more time and there will probably be one near you soon.)

(Try these people:

http://www.championtrailers.com/

scroll down to "trailer tires" and one you want is item#3141, $64.95, if anyone can send you one these folks probably can and with the least amount of hassle.)

(It would be worth a try.)

Another thing to keep in mind about your size tire (5.30 X 12) - you will want the load range "C" tire which will carry a load of 1045 lbs at 80 psi. There is another tire, the same size, called a load range "B" and you DO NOT want this tire as it cannot carry anywhere near the load. Often times people got into difficulty replacing their orginal tires with the inferior ones and had a tire failure very shortly afterward ... then blamed the tire manufacturer.

In the U.S., anyway.  The designations may be different in Oz.
