I'm ready to go. Installed my battery and everything works like it is supposed to. SCARY!!! I have it plugged in and the fridge cooling and battery charging. Maybe, soon we will be able to use it. Some unexpected bills came up and now we will not be using it as much as we planned. Guess we can driveway camp!!! The kids like it.

Also, when I bought the battery off of my friend for $20 he threw in a 750 watt inverter. I checked it out and it will be used to run the battery charger if the camper battery runs low..

I have plans to use it dry camping. I have a place I have been going to for about four years. This will be the first year not using a tent.  It costs $30 for the family for the year. We can camp and fish all you want. They supply firewood for a donation. It is not very big but it is quiet and family oriented. They stock the pond twice a year and hold fishing tournaments every month. At the end of the season they have a free hog roast for the members.  If anyone is interested let me know, I can give more info. There is no phone numbers or websites but I live only 20 miles from it.....

Sorry for rambling, Guess I'm frustrated that I finally get a camper and won't be able to use it much. Guess there's next year....

I know the feeling.  you have to make hay when the sun is shining and support your family and give them the best life you can.  I bought my camper with the express idea that when I am off for a couple of days in a row, we can get away from everything and enjoy each other and have quality family time, investing in family relationships with each other.
I am working alot more right now than I want too, but kids in college etc, I don't want to slow down when the family still needs so much....I am going to make my down time count by using our pop up and distilling as much quality time as we can from being togather when we can....
