Went to GA's FDR SP this last weekend. My mistake. This is a very poorly maintained park with an even worse reservation system. When I made my reservation online it ask what type of camping I would be doing. I put popup. Little did I know this would relegate me to tent size sites on rutted dirt roads. These sites were either too small for my bayside or so uneven much leveling was needed. I was told they were sold out so I had no other choice. I found a site and made it work but was very displeased. The entry to our site had such a rut I feared I would tear up the bottom of my car or camper. Further more There were no grey water dump site in Area 3 to which I was assigned, no trash cans and no soap in the bathroom dispenser( we filled them). All in all this place is a very bad choice. Ga's state parks are generally excellent. Either this place is poorly run or the money is not getting where it needs too. Either way I will stay away and alway say I have the biggest RV when making online reservations. Happy Camping.
