I believe certain oil company executives drive large vehicles.  In order to get great deals on ther new personal vehicles, they jack up gas prices so that the manufacturers have to discount the pickups they plan on buying.

I do believe that those certain oil execs you mention can buy any vehicle they want with only their pocket change and not think about price. If they should buy a dozen or so at a time for family members etc. they will get a quanity or fleet discount anyway......

We are a nation of spoiled cheap skates, me included.....

i do believe i own oil company stocks.for a very long time now
i also believe that the gov,t in various entities almost make more per gallon than oil companies do after cost

i also don,t buy citgo products or stop on their sites and thats my right to do so

it could get worse if the Govt adds a carbon tax.
