Read anything good lately?

Since I haven't seen any of my favorites, here's my hints (Warning: Sci Fi Alert):

I am mentally getting ready for camping and am thinking of my book supply in the camper.
 
What have you read lately? I'm looking for what DH calls "no brainer" reading -- Danielle Steele type stuff, Patricia Cornwell, etc. I guess you could call it "beach reading" although we aren't going to the beach until spring break.

Tena, from the books you like (Steele and Cornwell) and from where you live, I highly recommend the three book series by Emilee Richards, "Wedding Ring", "Lovers Knot", and "Endless Chain". They all take place in the Shenandoah Valley. You'll no doubt recognize places they talk about. I really enjoyed the series.  i also recommend the Big Stone Gap series by Adriana Trigiani if you haven't read that...  I go through several books a week...some serious, some easy reading, just depends on my mood...

"A Walk In The Woods" by Bill Bryson

It's an easy read, it's really funny and a perfect read while in the outdoors.

In a nutshell, It's about a 40 something year old guy that's about 75lbs overweight that moves back to the states after living overseas and his new home is near the Appalachian Trail. He had never heard of the trail, and was surprised to learn that it started in Georgia and ended in Maine or vise versa depending on where you happen to start. So he is intrigued by this trail and decides to gear up invite an old college friend along and hike from Georgia to Maine.

It was hard for me to put down.
