Hello everyone, does anyone have a Kompact Kamp motorcycle camping trailer?? I just bought a brand new 2007,  I just traded my 2005 Dodge Durango (gas prices and horrible gas milage) and bought a 2007 Honda civic which can tow the "dog house" just fine.  With  a hitch weight of 25 # and overall weight 265 lbs.  its perfct for the Honda.  go to //www.jdtrailers.com and see the mini mate ex pop up camper.  there from Pa.  Its SMALL !!!!!! just what i need though.  If anyone else has one please let me know.  Thanks, J-Bird :U

Will it sleep two people?  The bunk looks like it would be a bit cramped.  If a couple were travelling together, they would each need a trailer unless it can sleep two.

It's a cute little thing.  I'd love to see one in a campground and check it out.

The Kompact Kamp does sleep 2 people, the bed is  54" X 78"  I have added a few little things to it so far, just to make the tight area as comffy as possible. Thanks, J-Bird

Hi J-Bird,

My husband and I have the Windward motorcycle camper and previously had a Kwik Kamp.  We have had some awesome camping trips in both campers.  We have a 2003 Honda 1800 Goldwing motorcycle, a 1995 Nissan pickup and a 2006 Ford Escape.  All three will pull our Windward.  The Windward has a king bed and a huge dressing area.

We were all set to spend 5 days at a state park this Memorial Day Weekend, but the weather has not been cooperating with us and we have had storms every day, so we decided to "camp" in the house this holiday and stay out of the mud.

We are currently looking for a regular size popup camper for times when we want so camp in something bigger than our Windward and when we don't want to take the motorcycle.

I've know several motorcycle people who own the Kompact Kamp and they like theirs.
