Hi Y'all! This Might Not Be The Place, Bt Just Wanted To Say We Just Returned From Our 2nd Weekend Camping Trip With Our New-to-us Vintage Pop-up. This Is Great! No Phones, No Tvs, No Video Games. Just Nature, The Fellow Campers (who I Have To Say Are Friendlier And More Laid Back Than People We've Been Aroud For A While) And The Recreation Available In The Parks. Looking Forward To Many More! Thanks To All Of You For Your Help And Advice Getting Going. I'm Sure To Post Many More Stupid Questions, But At Least We Can Camp Now.

By The Way, Do The 7-day Coolers Live Up To Their Claims? We Go Through Bookoos Of Ice.

Happy Camping!  We got on older Coleman Convertible Cooler/Frig (Poly-Lite?)
That came standard with our older Coleman Redwood.  Loaded up with beer and pop. We keep it in the pu out of the sun. If you keep the door closed reasonably,  We have one pound bag of ice last us for 2 days easiy.  We've used dry ice in the other cooler (big heavy green Coleman monster with metal handles that takes two people to carry) we kept in the rear of the van.  That had our food in it and  it kept everything frozen for 4-5 days even after we got back home.  Can't beat those old Coleman coolers.  IMO

Thanks, we invested in 1 extreme cooler for the next trip and started freezing blocks of ice. As soon as we finish milk, I'll use those containers too. We also save ice in Zilpocs from the ice maker. We set the coolers under the bunk end for shade. GrumpyCamper leaves
Friday for a weeek, so we'll see if the new cooler and/or the blocks work better.

Hi, You should be all set with that cooler. I got one last year as a gift. A little larger that I would have liked. But I am happy with it, I can't remember the exact size. But it works best full (obviously). Your on the right track freezing those milk containers and anything else.
But you can't beat those old metal Colman coolers.

Where was that campground with no phones? You must mean landline phones. It seems to me that when I take a walk around the campground usually after dinner you see people on cell phones and that cell ring. I'm all for technology and convenience but mabe it's just me.
