Hello all.....

My Palomino has the following listed as the wiring colour codes (coming from the trailer):

Green - Clearance/Running Lights
Red - Left turn
Brown - Right turn
White - Ground
Black - Dome
Gray - Refer
Blue - Electric brakes
White (2nd) - Ground for brakes

I've got the lighting wires done, but now I have two questions:

1. I want to run a 12V wire to power the fridge while in motion. Is it enough to just run 12V+ to the gray wire above, with an inline switch or relay to power it down when the TV isn't running??

2. Does this line also charge the PU battery, or is the charging circuit on the Black (dome) wire??

3. I know I said 2 questions, bear with me..... does anyone have the service number for Palomino so I can confirm things with them??

Thanks is advance!!

You might want to double check those color codes. They don't look right to me. Usually brown is Clearance/Running Lights and Green & red (or yellow) are turn signals. Everything else looks correct. Your trailer may differ but it won't hurt to double check.

The normal way to run a 12v "Hot line" from the tow vehicle is to run it directly to your camper's battery (with a 30a fuse on both ends of the line). That way it charges your battery and your battery powers the fridge (as normal)
