I would like to be able to use the outlets in my PUP when drycamping but don't have a generator.  I have a 2007 Flagstaff with one battery.  I was thinking a second battery and a converter, but does anyone else have other suggestions?  I'd like to run the television and dvd player to keep the little one occupied and be able to recharge my two way radios with the plug-in charger...

Thanks,
Tim

You can do this with an inverter, which will change 12 volt to 120 volt.  It's not "free", though.  To be very simplified, you will use your battery 10 times faster, so you'd better have a way of recharging it if you'll be using the inverter for extended periods of time.

A power inverter is what you want.  It will turn 12 volt into 110.  :)

Pick up a 12v tv & dvd player and a good portable solar panel
