I posted this earlier, and it seems to have disappeared into some sort of black hole.  Oh well, I'll try again, just because I can & I'm bored (not really, but it's the principle of the thing, you know?).

My trip to the Redwoods has been great.  Traveling this far with a trailer in tow has been a learning experience, largely because it's more tiring that I thought it would be.  Four or 5 hours at most is about all I can do before I need to quit.  So, instead of an 8 hour day tomorrow (from the Redwoods to Monterey) I came half-way to Petaluma tonight.  Staying at a KOA with all the bells & whistles, but not unhooking so I can get up early & get going.

Picture taking was kind of weak this trip, largely because it was foggy along the coast when I was in Eureka and I can only take so many pictures of Jed.  That being said, here's a link to the pics I did take:

By the way, I really enjoyed being with you all this past weekend.  Believe it or not, I'd rather camp with you all than by myself (I think).  Please forgive my bit of "hibernation" -- I think I was still recovering from the end-of-school push.  You all are the best, and who knows, maybe some trip I'll actually stay up past 9:00 & watch the antics!

See you all in October (and some of you next month!)!

It was very nice meeting you also. We fell in love with Jed very sweet dog. Looking forward to another camping trip with the group also. It was one of our better camping trips, its all about the people and its a great bunch. See you on Labor Day camp out?

glad you're having fun...the kids wanted a long trip and I opted to stay here longer, to make it easier on me. the have lots for the kids here to do and we can do day trips. we are off to SLO tomorrow....today was clean up day and hang out and relax.

Driving can be tiring. when I did that long trip to Wash state I did the plan your itinerary on the good sam club site and kept my stops at 3-4 hours

Thanks for sharing the pics Laura. I know that it's hard to take the camera out when you're by yourself but we appreciate the pics.

I hope that the rest of your trip is safe and relaxing. That is such a perfect camper for you and Jed.

Give Jed a big hug for us.
