Campsite for Sale

Without going into a long story, I have a campsite reserved in the San Mateo part of San Onofre SB from Aug. 19-21 (Sun-Tues) that I shouldn't be using (thanks to over-zealous staff at my school).  So, for the cost of the site, it's yours if you speak up quickly.  

Campsite is #42, which has water & electricity.  Cost for the 2 nights is $68.  If I don't get any takers by the 10th I'm going to cancel the reservation.  

Boy, I sure hope someone can use this!  Makes me sad/mad/frustrated that I can't.

what happened to the 10th?? you didn't give anybody anytime to check their calendar, check with their spouse, and maybe even get a chance to read the board yet since you posted yesterday....

I guess we didn't really need to go anyway..... snooze you lose comes to mind

Well, I guess with 40+ hits & no responses like, "Let me check my calendar/with my spouse," I made the assumption that nobody was interested.  This trip's been hanging over my head ever since I realized that I had school obligations & I just wanted it to be ... done.

I work for an elementary school district myself.  I had to change my vacation time in August, because we can't take vacations two weeks before or after school is in session.   We are starting school about 8/20/07 I believe.
