The other advantage of having 2-EU2000i generators is that during times that you aren't running the AC, your fuel consumption will be much less. I think that you may find that you only have to run one of them most of the time. In fact, you may even find that you leave one home on some camp-outs.

I had 2 of the EU2000i's. I found that I only needed one so I sold the other one to my brother.

The 3000 is much heavier and much larger. We stow our 2000 in the TV every night (for security). I'd hate to have to do that with the 3000.
